We signed up for your service last month for my wife's 87 year old grandmother, who had recently managed to fracture her pelvis and had spent some time in the hospital for it. She lives alone and now has a daytime caretaker, so we felt pretty secure about her during the day. After a lot of research, we chose the Vital Link medical alert bracelet to help give her (and us) the same sense of security when no one else was around. Well, Thursday night, somewhere around 3 AM, she experienced a lot of pain in her back and was having trouble breathing. She "pushed the help button" and was immediately contacted by one of your staff. The rescue squad was called first, we were called next. We were at her house less than 20 minutes later, to find that she'd already been taken to the hospital. Thanks to your service AND the lock box (which I highly recommend), my wife's grandmother is alive today...she's in the hospital receiving treatment for a large pulmonary thrombosis, a blood clot in her lung, which is usually fatal if not treated within the first hour of onset. While she's not out of the woods yet, she has more than a fighting chance now. Without you guys, we'd be looking at a whole different picture right now. Thank you for being there when she needed you!

I spoke with Mark on Friday & provided him with all of the information. I look forward to working with you and your medical alarm company and I appreciate your assistance and care for my mother. I am her only child & her only family member on the West Coast (along with my husband, of course), so I am very protective of her & want her to be safe. This medical alert system will make me feel more comfortable in allowing her to live alone (which she hasn't done since 1961).

Thanks again and God bless you for your kindness with my patient! My employer is currently piloting a Medicare study to see if a nurse care manager can make a difference in monitoring patients over 65 with chronic conditions and the role that medical alarms might play in keeping this population safe.. Needless to say there is an opportunity for many referrals in the future. There will be about 650 intervention pts. By the time we are finished enrolling. Have a great day! Thank you for such a wonderful service throughout the years and I have definitely and will continue to spread the word around for the fantastic service we have received. My mom's medical alert button probably saved her life on at least two occasions. She was able to press her panic button after she had a stroke a few years ago and again more recently after a fall.

My mother fell on 12/23 and used her button. Your staff was professional and informative. They called me because when Mother was asked if she needed help she apparently was saying "NO". I was able to wake my teenage children who were home with my mother and they called 911. Your staff made the initial call and called back a few minutes later to see if I needed any other help. As your subscriber's P.O.A. for many years, I want to thank you on her behalf for the "peace of mind" your device and monitor service gave her. She had severe macular degeneration and was almost blind, but she would always ask for, or feel around to grasp her Vital Link necklace before showering or going to bed. That necklace was her "Linus" security blanket.

On Sept. 2nd, 2006 one of the nicest women (name unknown) saved my life. I don't remember much except how nice & calm she was. Shortly after talking with her I apparently was in & out. The doctors said my carbon monoxide levels were so elevated that they didn't think I would make it. Without her I wouldn't have! I'm sure you've heard commercials where people say - "That's the smartest decision I ever made". Well in this case it's true. Thanks is not enough Mark, but please let them / her know how grateful I am. You all have a very important job - Thanks for being there when we need you.
